A WEEKEND AT THE MANOIRS DES PORTES DE DEAUVILLE (FR)
Hello everyone!
Although I am a great lover of Paris as you know, I also love to get away from it all for a weekend in the countryside or by the sea.
During this summer period, I wanted to enjoy the beach and the sea a little. I therefore had the pleasure of staying one night at the Hôtel des Manoirs at the gates of Deauville (located more precisely in the city of Canapville). Through my photos, you will quickly realize that this hotel, which has just opened, offers delicious moments of privacy and pure relaxation.
Indeed, with its 27 new apartments distributed between the manor and the cottages each carefully decorated in a comfortable and minimalist style, I really appreciated the fact that each cottage has its own kitchenette and living room, with for the most part a view of the swimming pool. I advise you to ask for it if possible, a little more appreciable
The hotel also has a cozy and welcoming bar thanks to its decoration which mixes velvet, rattan and black wood. Do not hesitate to curl up in the generous armchairs and especially ask for a fireplace at the end of the evening, cocooning atmosphere guaranteed!
For the record, the main building, a 16th and 17th century manor, is listed as an historic monument. It belonged to the playwright Pierre Corneille. You can also enjoy the many old books in the library.
In short, you will have understood it, the “Manoirs at the gates of Deauville” hotel is a true haven of peace elegantly combining rich authentic architecture with all the comforts of modern life (Spa, jacuzzi, etc.).
